STUFF YOU'RE WONDERING ABOUT
I am a complete beginner, is that okay?
This is a mixed-level crew. Beginners are welcome — you're here to learn. If you already ride, you'll be pushed at your level, not held back by the group.
I already know how to Ski / Snowboard, will there be a discount?
Absolutely!! You only pay for what you need. So if you already have ski gear and/or already know the sport you won't need lessons or rentals. Mention that in the form 😊
What will we be exploring in Almaty?
Think Medeu rink nights, Kok-Tobe cable car, bathhouses, cafés, that will keep afternoons/evenings buzzing.
What is NOT included in this?
Your flights, lunches, dinners and personal expense you make!
What's the actual schedule? Free Time?
Mornings are for ski/snowboarding lessons (usually 2-4 hours on the moutains). Afternoons are yours—sleep, explore, think, or just storll the city. Evenings we eat and dialog toegther. It's structured enough to learn but loose enough to breathe. We don't do minute-by-minute itinerary!! 🎿⚡️
Visas for Indians?
Best news ever - Kazakhstan is Visa-free up to 14 days. You’re sorted ✨🤘🏻
What is the room situation like?
We will have twin-sharing rooms! If you would prefer a single room, please mention that during our call and we can arrnage that for an extra fee.
Will there be snow?
Late-December is usually good, and Shymbulak’s season window plus snowmaking support means reliable learner days—still, mountains are mountains, so we keep backup options.
I’ve never skied/snowboarded. Will I survive?
