A fully guided trail running retreat through Malaysia’s wild jungle terrain with India’s most accomplished trail athlete. You’ll train on technical jungle trails surrounded by ancient rainforest, wild orangutans and Mount Kinabalu towering at 4,095 metres above it all. This is Southeast Asia's greatest trail running backdrop.

  • Daily guided trail runs, beginner → advanced splits

  • Technique + Terrain adaptation

  • Strength + Mobility sessions

  • Recovery yoga, swims in springs + waterfalls

  • Evenings with the crew - food, conversations, co-living & working.

  • We start with 5-10km trails all the way to 40km trails. You get to choose your pace and distance.

Who is this retreat for?

This is designed for athletes, founders, builders, artists, and creators who choose Type 2 fun. If you need itineraries and tourist boxes to tick, this won’t land.

Do I need to be an experienced runner to join?

Yes! This retreat is designed for runners. You should be able to comfortably run 10 km in about 60–90 minutes. That’s our minimum baseline to make sure you enjoy the experience rather than struggle through it. Kieren will be curating a plan to help you get ready!

Will rooms be shared or private?

Prices are based on twin-share rooms. This is a forest and villa You can always upgrade to a private room depending upon availability!

What’s not included?

・Flights to and from Borneo (Kota Kinabalu) ・Visa fees ・Travel Insurance ・Add-on Experiences ・Meals not listed ・Personal expenses.

What's the actual schedule? Free Time?

Mornings are for training (usually 2-4 hours). Afternoons are yours—sleep, explore, swim, recover. Evenings we eat and dialog toegther. It's structured enough to learn but loose enough to breathe. Detailed Plan is shared with the crew!

Will there be wifi?

Yes! Yes! Yes!

What kind of trails will we be running on?

The terrain is intentionally varied - 5, 10, 25, 50 kms. Full route details are shared with the crew closer to departure.

Who usually comes on these retreats?

We keep the crew small — usually 8–12 people, mostly in the 25–40 age range. You’ll find founders, operators, creatives, AI folks, lawyers, doctors — people building things, thinking deeply, and up for good conversations
